Dear Rabbi Weiner : Registration for the Summer 2010 season of Taglit-Birthright Israel trips with URJ Kesher opens tomorrow at 12:00pm EST at http://www.kesherbirthright.org. Share the Gift of Israel with Eligible 18-26 Year Olds If a member of your community is eligible for the Taglit-Birthright Israel program, we will make sure that their application is handled with priority status so long as they sign-up with URJ Kesher. As a reminder, eligibility criteria are: Jewish, 18-26, and first time in Israel on a peer program. Summer 2010 trips will be offered in May, June July, and August and we expect that registration will be closing very, very early this season -- most probably within 24-48 hours of opening on February 17th. Accordingly, it is critical that applicants plan ahead to register on time. How to Refer a Member of Your Community If you have not already done so, simply respond to this email and let us know the name of the person(s) for whom we should be on the lookout.
